Create teams that dynamically update based on any criteria you set 

This year, we want to bring you into more into the process of our development roadmap and get you thinking about how you’d use the features we’re developing. Our first Feature Preview is Dynamic Teams and we’re excited to show you how you can use these. 

What are dynamic teams 

Teams are segments of your employer groups that can be used throughout TPA Stream. As we’ve grown our dataset into what it is today, we can imagine creating teams that update themselves in real-time. 

Here are some examples

• You might have a collections team that looks at groups with overdue invoices or a team to see all of your claims harvesting groups that use a particular payer
• A renewal team could be used to identify who’s CDH plans are up for renewal soon
• A COBRA team could identify who still needs new rates entered for the upcoming plan year

You can still manually create a team by adding employers to teams, but you can also use criteria to build your teams that are updated over time. 

Using Dynamic Teams

Dynamic teams can create lists of all renewing groups or automatically resend overdue invoices. You can initiate a reminder email to report on active lives. You could even have the data for those groups zipped up to download.

Dynamic teams is just the start

As part of our strategic roadmap, we’re also soon launching dynamic teams for members so that you can create lists of members as well.

After a lot of feedback from our clients and the market, we’re excited to also share that we’re launching a new product, TPA Stream Communications in the coming months. You can create and send email communications to any dynamic team you create. Dynamic Teams is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more information about being added to that beta. 

When Dynamic Teams will be available

Dynamic teams is being added to the TPA Stream application in late-February/early-March. You will be notified when Dynamic Teams is available on your account.  In tandem with our Feature Previews, we will be running a workshop on leveraging new features, like dynamic teams. Stay tuned for the date and to learn more.
